And when that happened to me, I was PISSED. I’m the dietitian, I have the nutrition down, I have the exercise down…HOW could someone like me who is so educated about health get diagnosed with cancer?!

And it sent me on a mission to figure out WHY, as we become more educated about health and wellness, we’re also getting sicker and more overweight as a society…

And what I’ve figured out…

The reality was that I DID have my nutrition and exercise down, but what I failed to do was manage stress, get adequate sleep, understand gut health and most importantly, change what was going on in my mind.

I’m Heather, founder of Nutrition Vixen. I help women rewrite their thoughts, behaviors and stories so they can feel confident, sexy and empowered to take control of their health. Through mastering the mind-body connection, they are able to boost their energy, attack anxiety and depression, cultivate self-acceptance and transform not just their bodies, but their entire lives.

As a registered dietitian, personal trainer and cognitive behavioral specialist, it’s my personal mission to change our world one woman at a time. I started Nutrition Vixen because of my own struggles with an autoimmune disease, and want to help as many as I can to reclaim the power of their health and have access to the knowledge that has allowed me to live a fulfilled, abundant and healthier life.
