Salted Caramel Coconut Butter

yields about 15 2-tablespoon servings 

  • 8 oz bag organic unsweetened shredded coconut flakes
  • 5-6 tbsp full-fat unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp imitation butter extract
  • 1 tsp maple extract
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt

In a powerful blender or food processor, blend coconut flakes and coconut milk. This process takes a little time and may require you to stop the blender and scrape down the sides. Start with a few tablespoons of the coconut milk and add more as desired for consistency. When coconut butter reaches desired consistency, add extracts and sea salt and blend for a few more seconds to combine. Store in an air tight container. Does not require refrigeration.
