Southwest Turkey Burger

Southwest turkey burger healthy

yields 6 burgers

  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey breast
  • 1 free range egg
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1⁄2 red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Himalayan sea salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil for cooking

Combine all ingredients (except oil) and form into 4 patties. Heat oil in skillet over medium- high heat and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
