Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • Himalayan sea salt to taste

Whisk together water and corn starch and set aside. Heat soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, ground ginger, garlic, sea salt, and red pepper flakes over medium heat until it reaches a simmer. Slowly whisk in corn starch and water mixture and continue to whisk until sauce thickens and is translucent. This is a great sauce to use for lettuce wraps!
